As a student midwife, seeing surgical hats on a daily basis during my placements had become a habit. What particularly attracted my attention was the diversity of patterns used on these fabrics. However, one detail struck me: none of them highlighted the magnificent African prints.
Curious, I did some research and discovered that surgical hats made from African fabrics already existed in several countries, including France, Italy and the United States. However, their presence was limited to a local level and had not been developed on an international scale.
And so Wendinda was born. From now on, all healthcare professionals will be able to express their creativity and style through our brand, wherever they are in the world.
